    1996 transmission for 1999 XLT?

    I have a 1999 Explorer, the O/D light has started blinking at me and it appears the transmission is getting ready to go out on me. I have a guy that has a 1996 Eddie Bauer (manufacture date 11/96) that has a "Control Trac" emblem on it, TR code D on the door sticker and if I am reading things...
