    We’ll I followed the instructions here https://www.explorerforum.com/forums/threads/07-roof-rack-crossbars-install.195980/#post-1825237 and lo and behold one of the yellow Christmas tree fasteners popped off and literally disappeared. Sheesh! The other one stayed but kind of disintegrated...
