95 4.0 will only shift from 1 to 2nd if I let off the throttle, no flashing OD light....just won't shift until I let off.....other gears are fine.....ALSO! Someone before me did something to where I don't have check engine light....don't even light up when I turn key on Thanks

Recently acquired a 93 explorer 4x4(my first 1st gen)....owner told me that only 4x4 high worked when you pushed the button because what's circled in red was wired together....what's circled in blue is what's left of the bundle....he said that they were two more wires that need to be wired...
