    front U joints

    my 1992 ranger grinds and pops when the 4wd is engaged and your turning. at first i blamed the hubs but now i'm sure its the u joints. i don't see any rings holding the bearings in,it looks like there's some kind of cap at each u joint bearing. never had a front axle off ,are the u joints...
