    clunking in 4wd high

    I've got a 2000 XLT and live in the Chicago area. 1 out of 10 times when I am in 4wd high and making a turn, I'll get a griding/stressing metal sound during the turn. I basically lose quite a bit of engine power and have to re-accellerate to recover. It does not happen every time...
