    Wont engage in park?

    Hey All. Got a 2001 EXT 4x4. The shifter doesn't move so easily, and the major problem...when I put the truck in (P) Park, it doesn't fully engage. It goes in (P), but then it rolls backwards and makes a few loud thuds. Like a rubber mallet on concrete, it that makes any sense. So to remedy...

    get starter out

    hey got an 01 explorer 4x4. starter shot. how do i get it out, there is no space. i got the ground bolt loose. the upper mounting bolt is rusted on, i used pb blaster, but there is no space to use a wrench. haynes manual doesn't say to remove other things. any help please advise.

    Engine? Trans? I donno

    Got a 01 XLT 124k. Couple days ago problems arise. Start up engine, drive up to around 30mph and tach jumps up from 2500 rpm to 3500rpm for a quick second to shift into the next gear, then back to 2500 rpm. Any advice? Never did this before. Tranny going bad?

    Tailgate won't open

    I can't open the tailgate. Seems to be a problem with the release handle, there is no tension. How do I get into the tailgate to see the problem. How is the tailgate door panel removed and can it be done when the gate is down. Any tips would be greatly appreciated

    2001 XLT Soft shift????

    Got a 2001 XLT 115000 miles. Bought it a few months ago. Noticed that shifting is a little delayed. I drive down the road 1st and 2nd gear seem to be fine, then when I am going about 45mph to 50mph the motor takes longer to shift, reving up around 3,000rpm, and then there is a "delayed shift"...
