    conversions on a 93 explorer

    I have a 1993 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4. I had a couple of questions. Is it possible to convert the rear drum brakes to disc brakes? Also, What do I need to convert from push button 4x4 to manual locking hubs 4x4? Or, what would be the best possible conversion from push button to anything else?

    grinding sound in 4x4

    Whenever I engage my 4x4, I hear a moaning and grinding sound and it seems to lag alot when in 4 wheel drive. What could be the problem? It is a 93 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4. It has the push button four wheal drive.

    I currently own a 1993 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4. I am saving money and trying to get ideas for my truck. I know I want to lift it and get good tires and make the overall truck run better and look better. I am new to this site.
