    need pic of nerf bar install

    I have a 1993 x and am trying to put better built side steps on it. I am running into a few problems. 1st mounting to the body mount under the front seats 2nd monting of the rear bracket and bar together, there is no room for any type of tool. also i have a 3inch body lift if that matters

    nerf bar install

    i have seen many explorers with nerf bars and i am woundering why some hang down low and others i have seen are right up against the body. I want to put some on but only if they will fit up close. Please help! Also i am new to this site and love it
