    About the Front Axle Nut

    OK....I am about to take the plung and try to replace the front diff in my 99 Explorer. I read in a manual that you cannot re-use the axle nut. I just called the auto parts store and they said that you can. Which is it? How bad is it to re-use this once I have taken it out?
