I'm preparing to replace the Primary Timing Chaing (front chain) in my '99 SOHC 4.0 4x4 Explorer. I know it's a serious job.
Any words of advice?

I own a '99 Explorer XLT with 225k. Thanks to this site and a little TLC, she is still in great shape.
I can't find any information on the recommended life of the timing chains in the 4.0 SOHC. When should these chains be replaced?
