    Gas mileage on my 98 Explorer

    I had a 96 XLT 4X4 V6 OHV that got 17/21 mpg. It was totaled and I replaced it with a 98 XLT 4X4. So far my city mileage is only 12 mpg. I had the 100,000 miles service done right after I bought it. It is a V6 SOHC with 112,000 miles. Anybody have any ideas. It passed smog with flying...
