I am new to this site and i have a problem. I just installed second tranamission in 1992 explorer and i put fluid in it. Now I am under the impression that a tranny and transfer case should hold 11 to 12 quarts of oil. I put in 5 and the oil is all staying in the pan what do I do?
I recently put another transmission into my 92 explorer and now when i start it up and put in gear it does not engage whatsoever. What could this be. This may be a stupid question but if the vacuum line is not hooked up would that cause it to not engage or is it a bigger problem.
