    Hi I have a 1999 explorer and thinking of changing automatic transmission to manual gear box. Has anyone got a list of things required and a plan of how to approach suck a task this would be great.

    Flashing O/D Light

    I have the same problem with my 1999 xlt explorer automatic the overdrive light flashes sometimes after a small drive and other times after a long drive.The people I brought the explorer from can not seem to fix it. Mechanic seems to think that it is electric is this possible, or what can it be?
