    2003 Sport Trac dash lights replacement

    Instrument pod No I was unable to disassemble the replacement pod so I unhocked the shift wire from under the steering column. Took about an hour, took time to clean parts while I was in there. I was able to remove the pod with the lense attached but had to remove the lense to fit it back in.

    Dash lights Yes they are the 194 bulbs and I have just replaced mine, total of 6. Easy to do.

    New to site

    Have had my 2001 Sport Trac from new, Green exterior with tan leather interior. It is my wifes daily driver. I have had no major problems. We like it very much except for the poor gas milage and lack of horse power. I am presently planning on replacing the instrument pod due to light problem...

    instrument pod removal

    I am going to replace my instrument pod in my 2001 sport trac. What is the procedure to remove it? How do I disconnect the gear shifter wire?
