Nobody has any idea? I really expected more from so-called enthusiasts.

Firstly, I'd love to use the search feature but for some reason it doesn't work on my phone which is currently my only internet. Today, I activated my 4wd and left it on for essentially the first time. Whenever I would turn, it would make a noise from the front that sounded first like tires...

OK so I think I've tracked it down to the cable itself just being old and stretched. I need to know how to get to the cable. Anybody have a link to a how-to for getting into the column?

Hi all. Haven't posted much; thanks in advance for any advice or help. So here's what's up: I was driving (good start, right?), and when I had decided that I was done driving, I decided to park (seems like the perfect ending). But then... (cue suspenseful music) Just as I moved my shifter...

so i went to uhaul today to see if that was still in effect, and it is. i asked them "what if i told you i was driving a 95 mercury mountaineer?" they said it was fine... i might just tell them i have a mountaineer that i badged as a ford.

well, i just got under the back of the truck to look, and i don't have a plug back there. all i have is a wire coming down from the driver's side taillight connecting to both of the tag lights, no other plugs.

so it's essentially just a bolt-on procedure? i haven't looked under the rear end yet, but excluding any wiring, it'll just mount straight up, no welding or anything too complicated?

... i'd really like some help. i'm sure the knowledge is here somewhere.
