yea im sure the knocking isnt from hitting bumps...its got to be one of the things you mentioned...what are the chances of my wheel falling off if i try to drive it to the shop...id rather do that than pay a ton for a tow there.

somethings def. wrong with it as speed picks up so does the knocking noise. something in my right front wheel i beleive does anyone have any ideas as to what could be broken??

sometimes as im driving i can feel/ hear a clunking noise underneath. doesnt seem to have any effect on drving right now just annoying. but obv theres something not right there or it wouldnt be doing it. does like a tie rod end or a ball joint or u joint make clunking noise if its broken?

yea i went through 3 from a boneyard that were bad and then bought a new one which i didnt have tested yet but will later today or tommarrow.

i have a 1996 explorer 4x4 and it wouldnt start so i had the alt tested and it was bad, so i purchased a new one and a new battery.got the new battery before the new alt and the old one drained my battery. but the battery lights still on and it doesnt run very long unless the battery is fully...
