    But if the compressor is bad, wouldn't the ac not be blowing cold air? My A/C does blow cold air while it runs.

    Ok, but should it run a lot hotter with the A/C on? I notice the needle on the temp gauge going to about three quarters with the A/C on and it keeps going up slowly.

    I have a 1992 Ford Explorer that only overheats with the A/C running. I had the A/C serviced about one month ago and before that, the car would overheat without the A/C running. I've replaced the thermostat, water pump, fan clutch, fan blade, put the fan shroud back on, but the temperature gauge...
