    A question for 5 speed explorer owners

    Thanks for the replies guys. Actually, the slave cylinder is the reason I'm changing the clutch. It's leaking, and since I have to pull the transmission I'm going to replace the cluth/pressure plate/throwout bearing/pilot bearing. I was just curious if anyone had any brands/names to stay away...

    A question for 5 speed explorer owners

    Hello all, I am going to have to replace the clutch in my '93 and was looking for opinions on clutches. Are the more expensive aftermarket clutches worth the money? Are any of the clutch kits listed on ebay any good? Or would my best bet be to stick with ford? Thanks in advance, Bobby

    Timing chain rerplacement

    hello all, I just discovered this site and thnk it is great! I was wondering if anyone knows how much the timing chain wears. I have a 93 4.0 V-6 with 160,000 miles. If there is a wear issue, I'd rather change the chain instead of rebuilding the motor. Thanks, bbrown
