Ok, here it goes guys. I have a 1997 2 Door 4x4 5 speed. It has the mazda tranny in it with 190000 miles on everything. now... to get first gear i have to shifter pushed clean up to the dash with about a quarter inch between the two. Second gear is almost to the center console...i cant always...

Probly your IAC. Eventually it will make the noise even with it off intermittently. Mine is doing the same thing im just to cheap to get the part.:D

i got all four doors and hatch from a red first gen that ill sell you if your interested. Rust free.

Well what do you tech guys think? is this worth the money? I Just wish it would let you adjust the timing an set shift patterns and what not. Thanks guys.

Hey guys, just wanting to say hi. Got a newbie here from Chattanooga, Tn:salute: I just got back from atlanta getting an 99 Explorer XLT with 101,000 miles on it. Payed $2700 for it with a rebuilt motor in it, and about a month ago got a 97 Sport % speed for $1500. Ill be on here a bunch great...

Hey im new to the forums. I just bought a 97 Explorer Sport 2dr. Its a 5 speed with the control track 4x4. Is this an odd combo? Ive never heard of the 2drs with the control track stuff. Thks in advance. Ryan
