i had a mad idea of buy a 200 tdi land rover discovery and take body off and fit explorer body on the chaiss jack it up big tyres etc great off road toy

im going to take my explorer off the road and do chains but was thinking maybe get rid of the 4.0 junk motor lol and fit a better engine anyone know if gearbox bellhousing like a lot fords is same as any other motors maybe a 2.9 v6 out a granada ? or a 5.0 v8 ?

after alot of thinging im going to park it up for now and to chain's myself in summer when ive time and spare money

hi on way home last night my steering was pretty bad everytime turned the steering its like its full nott's i checked the fluid and its at max but is dirty and black i just taken the car round the block to this morring cold and its better but not great if that helps so what you guys...

and the bearing are pre gresses then sealed aint they ?

dont seam to say out about bearings must be filled with gresse already then thanks ive hada look and its not hard job to swap them really just take ur time

hi going to fit the new hub to my ex at the weekend its 1st type ive done like this with complete hub are the bearings sealed in gresse ? just want to make sure im pretty sure they are just dont want to mess it up lol

i need new front wheel bearing hub and seen them on on ebay for £100 cheaper than anywhere else ive seen but are they rubbish or alright ?

ive had land rovers and range rovers and driven surf's and the explorer is by far the best the surf feels cheap and nasty tbh where the ex feels so much better than any other 4x4 ive driven id look for a ex and find best you can im hooked on explorer's now and only been in owner ship 4 days...

after a a few years of wanting one ive got a explorer and just love it what a great car in everyway wish id got one years ago now is it just me of when your driving one do you just look at other 4x4's and go pfff there just no where near as good lol
