I have had minor stalls before putting it in, it was usually just on start-up, sometimes would have to crank it twice, but nothing major. Battery is two years old. My buddy said I may have to get an optima battery but any other opinons would help

Good morning fellas, I have just recently installed a 500 watt memphis amp and one JL 12 into my 2002 ford explorer XLS. I have noticed now that my car has been stalling out lately while driving. I am pretty certain its the alternator not pumping enough energy unless someone here can steer me...
