    2003 Explorer Air bag Sensors

    I have an '02 that had the same code. It was the center one under the radiator. If you remove the trim piece directly under the radiator you will see it. Mine was very corroded and needed not only the sensor, but the connector as well. It was a very cheap and easy repair.

    The cruise control works fine, could it still be the switch or do you think it could just be really bad luck with the duralast hubs. I have replaced each side twice already. I am of course out of warranty on both hubs now!

    my '02 explorer air bag light is flashing a code 42. I have seen many posts for the side impact sensor, but mine does not have the side aribags. Is this code also for the sensor near the radiator? If/ so, where is it located?
