ok I really need help. Spring didnt fix it, put a new solenoid block in, still no fix. Same P0775 code. Manual says pinpoint D test, but all of those tests relate to the solenoid. How long does it take to clear codes with the battery disconnected? It still acts like its either not...

hmm. I think I will wait for my manual and see if there are any specs in it. If not I may just get a whole new block. Live and learn.

ok, how about this... Does anyone have a pic of the temperature sensor on a 5r55e? (the one that is on the wiring harness). May be possible they are the same, and the harness is much cheaper. Sorry for all the questions!

heh, unfortunately mine doesnt look so nice. damaged beyond recognition, got a bit careless with a screwdriver (at the time I planned to replace the unit). Maybe when my manual arrives it will tell me some specs on it.
