    Transmission problem on my 1996 Aerostar.

    slips out of drive into lower gear if i puy it in 2nd for a while then shift to drive it seems to work or if i turn off engine for a minute then restart it seems to reset it self and works properly for awhile again (happening more frequently now ) Thanks Areostar

    I have a 96 aerostar xlt trans mission kicks out of drive to lower gear if i shut off engine it seems to reset itself and works normally for a while also if i put it in 2nd for awhile and then into drive it will work for awhile what needs to be done to fix this thanks Areostar
