    Ouch! Yikes! Are these hubs supposed to be hot?

    After driving about 20 mins in my 94 xlt, I heard a squeel when I accelerated...but not consistently. I parked, touched the hubs (for no real reason, I just did) and they were hot! They were about as hot as sunbacked asphalt. I was driving at night, in cold weather. Rims are also quite warm...

    Locking Hubs Fantasy?

    Unhappy with the uncertainty of my shift on the fly auto hubs, I read all the forums etc that said I should go manual. However, My Ford dealer says there's no kit to replace auto hubs. My trusty mechanic says no way, you have to change the axle etc etc. Are my dreams of replacing my auto...
