ok so here i go so i got this 1996 ranger with a 4.0 that had a high idle due to the iac not closing all the way.so i sprayed it out and nothing..anyways i was messing around and made a gasket i cut out the diameter of the iac poked out my two bolt holes.then i poked two tiny holes in the ports...

the timing chain is fine its just the cassette the one in the head area it looks to me you can replace it with just the valve cover off :thumbsup:

hello people i am new here and i have a big problem..ok so i started hearing the famous noise from my exploers motor sounded like a lifter loose i tore the valve cover gasket off and i noticed a plastic peice laying next to my rocker arm further inspection i noticed i can see the timing chain...
