whats the part# for the snap ring that connects the pushrod on the MC to the pedal? when mine popped off it flew :/ lost inside the dash lol and aszman yea the safety switch comes off easy just pull the little clip off the back of it and pull the bottom portion out first edit: nvm got one...

Nice, and the snap ring should just pop off with needle nose or a flathead? oh I already know it's going to give me a hard time lol.

they are great videos but neither show you how to actually remove the MC correctly. I'm positive I could do it but I want to make sure so nothing gets done wrong or makes something else break lol

ok, but since the MC installed already, how do i remove it? and do i have to remove the pedal rod or could i just use some vice grips to push rod in n out?

well.. now im just like wtf.. i started it up for the first time today since installing the trans back in very slight rubbing/brushing sound at idle coming from the trans now i have a CEL :( and the damn clutch still won't get pressure!! i know i had air in the MC so i disconnected the line...

oh yes of course :) that's when i'll do my rear main seal too (Wasnt leaking this time) and probably all the freeze plugs

yea i just went ahead and soaked the dowels in seafoam got them all nice and clean. its all back in now just gotta bleed the clutch n ill be good to go! although i will be needing a clutch in the next 40k im guessing so ill be starting a fund for that lol prolly go with the kevlar clutch set...

thanks for the pic but yea i had them all out. after much begging to another friend he came out and its already ready to be put back in :) it took a come-a-long and 2 rubber 3lbs mallets and 2 pry bars to break it loose LOL didnt have to drop the exhaust at all just twisted it...

well my help never showed.. been at it for 2-3 hours now trying to break the exhaust loose and the trans.. ive got nothing..mauls,hammers,pry bars nothing worked. :( im at a loss here.. cant afford to hire help as ive been stuck home for 2 weeks now :( i was lucky enough to get a ride into town...

just make sure to check under it for rust. that quarter is gonna haunt you until you fix it though lol

it was damaged prior to me touching it :( i tried to remove it to clean it and flatten it back out but its just stuck halfway inside the fitting and the other half wont come out for nothing. i tried using special tool to tuck it in followed by a flat head screw driver but to no avail :(
