Yes and yes. It just seems that there isn't quite enough room between the seat buckles on either side for the base to fit up against the back of the seat. I have a friend that has gone through the 32 hour certification training that should be able to install it properly in the next week or so...

Has anyone installed a rear-facing infant seat in the center of the 2nd row bench? I'm having trouble getting the base to fit in the center (one side sits a little higher than the other), but would like to put it there if I could. Otherwise, I'll just install it to one side or the other...

Just got confirmation from Seni that my Ex is at the dealership! Original build date of 3/15, so there is hope that you won't be stuck in awaiting shipment for much longer!

I'm still awaiting shipment. Built 3/15. Original ETA was 3/21 but was updated to 3/23. I just talked to my salesman today. Same ETA of 3/23...he faxed me what he was looking at. There was a primary status and a secondary status. Not sure what it means, but the secondary status last week...

My original ETA was 3/21. Checked on 3/22 and it was updated to 3/23. I didn't check again after that as I assume it just keeps getting moved every day. Still awaiting shipment.

Congrats! Nice to see some good news from someone. Mine was built 3/15, but is in the dreaded "awaiting shipment" status. I'm still hopeful to take delivery in the next few days!

I think that could be why some people are having delays. Can anyone with the AWD model confirm that they did not have a delay? I'd really hate to have to wait another month or longer.

True. Not guaranteed, but I'm not sure they would schedule a build week if they weren't going to build your Ex. I'm certainly not an expert in the matter, but I would think that scheduling a build would involve committing or allocating resources to that particular vehicle. Once they run out...

If you have a scheduled build week, I would assume you should be fine. I think the date in that link refers to the date the actual order was placed, not the date it was built (mine was built 3/15 and I got confirmation that it was built).

I think you can register as soon as you get a VIN, but Sync doesn't show up as installed until a couple days after it's built. Earlier today when I registered, they didn't show my Ex as complete. Just a bit ago, I was able to see that Sync was installed.

I was just checking a couple dealer websites and saw a window sticker for one in the 31000's and another in the 35000's showing due to come off the line in the first week in March. They really are cranking them out now!

Not necessarily. Your priority only affects where you are in line for your dealer's allocation. Some dealers rarely use 10's to save for truly high prioity needs. Some dealerships start with 20, so that particular dealerships 20 is really the same priority as my 10.
