Transmission flush is a good idea regardless, now your transmission might be having some issues that might disappear with the oil change but reappear as you use it so it would be a good idea to try to identify whats going on. The flush might help if there are any particles in the oil from debris...

It could be a number of different things to be quite honest. Solenoid problem? I wouldn't doubt it, you most likely need new solenoids. If you could tell us year/make/model it would help. Let us know if you have any new info!
