The same thing happens to my 98 explorer sport - 4speed w/overdrive - - but it's only happening when the road conditions are slippery - - mostly snowing?? when it's not - - it perfectly OK.... It is like a speed bump and doesn't sound good at all!!! Have you found anything out at all...
