Yep, mine leaked at about 25000 on my 2013 Explorer. Ford fixed it and no problems since. I have almost 40000 on it now.

Bryceb, you were correct. It was the PTO seal that was leaking. Took it in yesterday and got it fixed under warranty. The only question that remains is should I now purchase an extended warranty plan??!!!

I stand corrected. I was looking at the number of VIEWS. None the less, this is an old problem that Ford should have been able to resolve given the the vast resources, tools, test equipment available to them.

One for me! Finally, after all these years of buying "practical" family cars and mini vans I got one just for me! I love my Explorer. It fits four sets of golf clubs and four players nicely! 66 years old..........

Me too To the original poster - do you have the dual panel moon roof? I do and I have a similar rattle. I know the buffeting noise the other posters talked about, but my noise is not buffeting. I think its the headliner on the rear moon roof. Sorry for late post, but I just got my 2013 XLT...
