Thank you for the thread! That bolt is the same one that dropped onto the floor. How did you fix it? Do you have to take off that metal knee plate behind the plastic one?

I have a 96 explorer 4.0 4x4 automatic and when I try to put it in park it won't go past reverse. It thinks it's in park because I can remove the key and shut the engine off. What could be going on?

Hey yall, so my exploder is in need of new sway bar bushings and end links all around. I found the front ones off amazon but are the back ones right?They have that little nub on the underside and wanted to make sure that they're right before ordering them...the ones I'm looking at...

When i went to our mechanic for inspection, it passed, but he said my crankshaft pulley needs replacing soon. i will most likely do it myself with a friend who's a mechanic. but finding the part is the trouble... its a 1996 explorer with the 4.0 ohv v6, ebay has good deals it looks like...

got it all done went up to auto salvage this past weekend, took an hour or two total

i have a 96 ford explorer sport and i need to replace the driver seat. do i have to use the same seat as that generation had or can i use a 1st or 3rd gen? no one is selling 2nd gen seats where i am...
