Thanks cuz i just got it twisted together and since i prolly don't need need it ill cap the wire Is there a reason why when the stock transfer case is out of the car and i turn the shaft they dont lock up like they should or is it part of the control trac system?

all im asking is whats the brown wire to cuz on all 3 transfer cases i have its cut on even the one that came in my explorer

I got around to swaping trannys so good tranny in bad one out i also swapped transfer cases out of a 95 ranger but used my explorer shift motor what is the brown wire that goes into the transfer case that u cant disconnect? is that for the also famous brown wire mod?
