    UPDATE: Motor Mount Stud Bolts - Size Listed

    I replaced badly worn engine mounts and 3 (out of 4) broken studs on my 1999 Ford Explorer XLT 5.0 v8 AWD today. I went to a Ford dealership to confirm that the OEM bolts(studs) are discontinued by Ford and no dealer in the country has them in stock. So, I got grade 8 bolts (7/16 - 14 x 1")...

    Help with IDing part (PIC)

    I removed it yesterday and it looks fine to me. I have tightened it all the way. I think the bushing and the mount are the only moving parts.

    I made a video of the "play" on that bushing. I believe that's not supposed to move like that while the car is still (brakes engaged). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Myyk-obqsug I believe the 2 other bushings can be good since they're not stressed that much when the diff is pushing...

    I could notice a vertical motion of the bracket while a helper had the car with parking brakes set and kept shifting from N to D and R. Is this expected? I'm suspecting this is the source of a clunk I hear when I'm taking off or stopping. I believe I found 2 offers of this bushing on...
