    Peter thanks for the idea, but the noise is still there even when the dan stops. The noise sounds like how a roller skate wheel would sound if you spun the wheels.

    I have a 2013 Explorer with 20k miles, the last couple days I have noticed a whirling/slight rattling/whining noise coming from the passenger side front wheel well. I have looked under the hood in the area of the serpentine belt but dont notice anything unusual. Could a belt go bad at 20k miles...
