    Wheel alignment was also checked since it can also cause the same symptoms, that's what forums say about vibrate at particular speeds. But mine disappeared after the driveshaft was fixed by a merc mechanic.

    Is it a whining sound? Or is it really vibration. If it is whining it is common on 02-05 Ford Explorers. TSB released a guide for repairing this axle whine kit. Not sure if we have the same issue (I don't feel any vibration) But I'm already looking where to order that axle whine repair kit...
