I got mine a week ago and it is awesome. I am going to use it to try and pin down a low fuel mix error causing the check engine light to come on. It is too cool to read and clear the codes while I am driving. (Plus the Miles Per Gallon is very interesting.)
I just hit 100000 today! My truck is running good except for minor issues that I haven't had time to fix. I did change the driver door handle, an abs sensor went out, my parking brake sensor went out, and my son bent my rear wiper. The other repairs were maintenance or wear.
It is funny that you guys are discussing the exact same problem when I am looking for the solution. I have a 2000 with OHV and 99K miles on it. First I changed the fuel filter and cleared the code. I got about two days and the light came back on.

Well, I broke down and brought it to the dealership. It cost me $170 to get the door opened, and the door latch replaced. After I worked an hour or so trying to figure out ways to get it opened, I think the price was fair. :)
Well I am there now. My luck ran out three days ago and the door only unlocked every once in a while, so I would just open it from the inside. Well the inside handle broke today. So since my door can't unlock and the inside handle is broken, I don't know how to get into the door to fix it...

Stubborn, I have the same problem. I think these are what you are referring to, but before I bought it I wanted to be sure that this was the part that has the replacement spring in it. Thanks!
