    mine is a v6 with 4 wheel drive, I am not familiar with the transmission. Iknow it was a fleet vehicle thats about it. Regards, Geoff

    Hello, I have recently purchased a 2008 ford explorer with 108,000 miles and when i drive for a while the transmission down shifts hard, has anyone dealt with this before? Regards, Geoff
