    Nope. Definitely the bypass hose although it wasn't the hose itself just these valves it plugs into that had disintegrated so causing fluid to spray right below that larger hose above it. I tjink the larger hose is the upper radiator hose not sure? Anyway I am hoping or asking are these valves...

    1997 Merc Mountaineer - have the coolant leak issue - realized was coming from 90 degree elbow hose aka bypass hose. Pulled off today to replace and was actually the valves hose plugs into. Valve against block came clean off! And one against water pump is a stub with flat piece of valve that...
