just wanted to let you guys know i figured it out. after trying for about an hour I decided to check the fuel cut off switch. it wasnt tripped. but I pulled the plug to look at it and one of the wires was pulled out alittle bit. so i pushed it all the way back in and tryed to start teh truck it...
I changed the fuel filter 6 months ago. I'm going to try and get a used fuel pressure regulator to see if it solves it before I go spend 100 dollars on a brand new one. I just got a new relay for the pcm and am going to try that and while i'm at it I'm going to see if there is fuel in the vaccum...
ok so my wife is driving the explorer thru the drive thru yesterday when she went to move forward the truck was dead. we ended up getting it to towed home. got it home and it wouldnt start it would crank over but no fuel. so i went and picked up a new fuel pump relay. i was gone maybe an hour...
