As far as a hold, my dealer had one ordered for inventory. It was built on 7-27, two days before mine, and it showed up on his lot last week.

At least you guys have an ETA. I originally had one for the 6th then the 7th. Those dates came and gone and still no vehicle. Ford Chat and my dealer now have no ETA. Says vehicle awaiting shipment. Just have to wait for a truck that has an empty spot heading east.

At least mine doesn't have to go rail. It's only about 100 miles to the plant. Wish I could just go and pick it up myself. Just at the mercy of the car carriers.

No Sync Connect like what is on the 2017 Escapes. Not sure that if that good or bad.

Now, that the order guides are out, can the vehicle be ordered? Or is the order blanks not open until April 14th when the 2016 order blanks close? Also have not found any site that has the pricing for the 2017's.

The reason I asked was because both my dealer and any Ford personnel I have talked to in the past month has said it will be available this fall on the Explorers. I only seen it mentioned here for MY17. I even called the Sync support hotline and they said was going to be available this fall.

Are they meaning for 2017 model year or a mid year refresh for the 2016 (Job 2)?And if it is Job 2, would ordering be this fall for Jan 2017 delivery?
