    Wheel Bearing Install

    I got the new bearing and installed it this evening. Piece of cake to install and it took care of the noise I alluded to in my " Transmission Noise" thread. I wanted to thank you all for your suggestions. She sounds great. Take care.. :exp: :us:

    Yes it increases but not really loud. Kinda sounds like my Scab with the GY MTR Mudders. It is localized in the left front. The transmission is smooth and shifts fine. :us: :exp:

    Could be yours is really bad. Mine is only noticable above 40mph. If you lightly swerve to the left it clears for a moment. The load is off the bearing. I'd do a quick wiggle test on both and if yours is loose, then replace it. It should clear up the noise. Good luck. :us: :exp:

    It hums while driving around 40-45. Almost like it wants another shift. It is not apparent while driving 20-25. I will check the bearings and report back. Thanks guys!
