    Digital Instrument Panel

I plan to Peter, but I would like to have the Sport Mode dials/display shown vs the blue normal mode display. Just a preference. The Mustang allows you to configure whatever display you wish linked to whatever driving mode you wish. Would be nice to have this option.

Prices Paid for Explorer (6th Generation Only)

I was going to wait as I had 2 months left on my lease, but the $1k private offer was expiring and the dealer offered to pay first lease payment, $250 prepaid visa, and 2 years of scheduled maintenance included on top. Having spoken to a number of other dealers who could get nowhere near their...

Prices Paid for Explorer (6th Generation Only)

I think I saw you are based in NH? I am too and just purchased my ST this week - Silver with Street Pack; Premium Pack; Twin Panel Moonroof; and floor liners. MSRP $59740 - the final price OTD was $49,638 before doc fees. This included $3500 of rebates ($1000 due to existing expiring lease) and...

    Digital Instrument Panel

I just got my Explorer ST and am a little disappointed in the digital cluster. Like some have said, I like the sport mode and how that displays, but having to set it to sport each time, and have it reduce MPG/hang onto gears longer is not ideal for everyday or city driving. I test drove a...

    Floor, cargo mats / liners

Thank you! The Smartliner does look good so I will be tempted if the 2017 one doesn’t fit well/look as good :o)

    Floor, cargo mats / liners

Peter, Are you still using the old liner? I am about to take delivery of my 2020 ST but also have the OEM liner from my 2017 Sport. I was going to order a Smartliner but saw your post! Any feedback after you have had some months using the old liner in the new car? Thanks! Richard.

What kind of parking sensors are available for the 2017 Explorer Sport?

When I test drove my Sport I tried out the front sensors and couldn't get them to come on when driving towards an object - I got a little fearful getting close as it was another new Explorer on the lot! I asked the dealer as I expected it to give me plenty of notice, per the rear sensors, but...

    2017 MY Running Boards

No problem at all! Given it took the Ford dealership around 3 hours to install them, but they were offering a fixed install price of $50 on their accessories website, I think they were great value at $495 installed especially compared to the cost of OEM running boards on my previous German vehicles!

    2017 MY Running Boards

@jonnoriega - apologies this took so long. I have uploaded a bunch of pictures here that I snapped today. I think they give you a good view - tried to get them from different angles for you so there should be plenty to go on. You can view them here. Let me know what you think!

    2017 MY Running Boards

@jonnoriega - I will get some pictures taken over the weekend. After having the running boards fitted in the snowy North-East I realized they "attracted" a lot of snow/dirt from the front wheels as it sprayed backwards.... I didn't have any splash guards/mud-flaps so I have since had those...

    2017 MY Running Boards

Hi guys, new to the forum and took delivery of my 2017 Sport just last week. First non-German car for many years and so far I am liking it! Just hope it stays that way :o) I am having the factory/OEM running boards installed on my car today. A local dealer is doing them for $499 installed and...
