I believe 2000 explorer. My harness and motor in original Ranger had a 2 wire CPS in rear of engine and the new engine has a three wire CPS. Both plug in straight (pointing toward transmission)off rear of engine. Neither have an angle up(toward hood) for plug.
Thanks for any help. Installed a replacement(used)4.0 efi engine into truck. The old engine had a 2 wire cam position sensor and the new engine has a 3 wire CPS. I have removed the 3 plug from wiring harness from donor car and wanting to wire in to 2 wire(original harness). Is this possible...
