    2004 ford explore ext

    Trying to find the rear compensator tie rods for the rear for 16 inch rims with 16mm tie rod end . For 15mm is to small and 17mm with out fitting is still to tall hits the rim .

    I called the dealership close to me and ford no longer makes the one for the 2004 explore ext I have for it takes a 16mm one they could get me the 15mm or the 17 mm . I was thinking about putting 17 inch rims on it but that year will not have enough wheel room so that one is out .

    Leave it up to ford to put a steering knuckle in the rear and the front

    You are lucky I have a 2004 explore with the 16 inch wheels and it only takes the 16mm tie rod ends for the compensator tie rod as ford calls them when I called the dealership up and ford discontinued the ones for my year and the after market only come for 15mm or 17mm . I tried the 17mm they...
