tc is transmission and chasis, 051a is sterling axle plant, the rest is the serial number limw4200 is part number GC is ratio sub model. The first 6 numbers may well be the date code, we have stopped putting labels on them as of about 6 months ago. all of the information is coded into a matrix...- dturcott
