ford also has a new program for the 02 V8 to improve mileage it cost $85 to have your ecm reprogrammed but I went from 10mpg to 20mpg. I also had the fuel system and intake cleaned, truck has better response and improved fuel mileage. Denso Iridium plugs can't hurt either.

u might have a bad dpfe sensor in the fuel system
