ABS light on - I checked several things, any clues?

I don't know if the 97's have them, but my 94 was having problems with the relays in the engine compartment. I replaced all of them and that took care of several problems, including the ABS light.

Explorer Pro Comp Add a Leaf

I don't know if this will help, but I put a Superlift add-a-leaf kit on my '94. It was the long one which mounts just under the main leaf (the one that goes all the way accross). I had to remove the ubolts holding the axle, unbolt the old leaves, install the new one with the new supplied bolt...

My 94 has a burning smell sometimes also. My smell is like an electrical buring smell, not leaves burning or getting hot. It alarmed me at first, but it has been happening off and on for so long now, with no noticeable effects, that I ignore it. If someone has any clue of what might be...

Go here and look at the fuel systems section: Dead Link Removed It may just be the float. Mine went bad. You can get the float at the Ford dealer for about $4. It took me about 2 hours to R&R the tank by myself.:hammer: Have fun!

94' 02 sensor - how to get at clips?

I just did mine on my '94 yesterday. Basically the longer and skinnier your arms and fingers are the easier it will be. You also need to be able to do things by feel since once you jam your arms in there you can't see the clips. I did the drivers side like mattadams by hugging the engine...
