This is true and i did find the key pad codeit and it works well..but if the battery dies in the same boat..Come to find out all the key holes are frozen none of them will turn at all...isnt that kind of strange?..Do they need to be replaced or will spraying something in there work...

But she had a spare key and it would not turn th lockmaybe the spare key is no good..My question is shoud a key open the door from the outside when engine is running and doors are locked..

Wife locked Explorer while running,don't ask..but she did have a spare key and could not open any door.Is this normal and we dont have the keyless entry code..1996 Explorer XLT..
