    OHV 4.0 Swap to 4.0 SOHC???

    i have a 91 explorer and it has 160k on it and the tranny is as good as gone. i have the oppertunity to buy a completely totaled 98 sport with 65K from a friend for $500. Would it be cheaper to rebuild the tranny and motor, or to swap in all the 98 stuff?

    I have a 91 stock explorer, and i want it to be posi all around, but don't want to pay for the expensive lockers. Is there a difference between putting in a mini spool that costs $40 and a locker that can cost $300. If there are diffs, are they going to be noticable while on the road, and on...
